Guests frequently highlight the Wellington Hotel's immaculate rooms, finding the beds and en suites particularly nice, and appreciate the available car parks and on-street parking nearby. The hotel's location close to the promenade and beach is often mentioned as a plus. While breakfast has been described as amazing, some guests have occasionally received meals that were only warm, requiring reheating. Overall, the Wellington seems to provide a warm reception and a comfortable stay for many visitors to Blackpool.
